Increase partition space Windows

Many times we encounter the problem that we want to expand the space of a partition on the hard disk, for example, if your hard drive has 20 GB of free space on one partition, and 5 GB free on the other partition, then to avoid be copying and pasting, it would have to increase space on the second partition.

So here we explain briefly how to do this increased space, without using any additional software, rather than the tools that provides the operating system Windows 7.

Basic information

1. First we have to check if our account on the system administrator.
2. Check either the amount of space you need to increase, and eye, do not leave the other partition without total space.
3. Try to relax, do not spoil anything, just have some patience and serenity.

Step 01
->> Go to My Computer icon and right click
->> Click on "Manage"
->> It will load a window as the first of this post
->> Locate "Disk Management"
->> There you'll see all your installed hard drives and partitions, and even from the same window
you can install the new hard drive you just installed.

Step 02
->> Understand the physical layout of your partition.
->> Find the partition you want to increase, in the window you will see the drives, either C, D, E, F,
etc.
->> Check it, do not give click by click to read first, take all the time you want for it.

Step 03
->> Create the space you'll need
->> Right click the drive you selected, and want to stay with less space, and look where it says
"Volume Down" or "Shrink Volume"
->> Then you'll see a window like the following
->> Write the amount of space you want to reduce MB in the window and click "Reduce."





Step 04
->> Now having already reduced clearance, we will increase the space in the desired partition.
->> We now proceed to select "Extender Volume" or
"Extend Volume".
->> Select the disk partition on your list and add it.
->> Below are a summary and the partition will be marked with free space.



Remember, there should be no loss of data, so I was not going to get nervous when you perform this tutorial. If you followed everything exactly, then all will go well.
