A few weeks ago Skype announced its version 5.0 for Windows, and yesterday presented its new version 5.0 Beta for Mac. The new Mac version with a new look, greatly simplifies the use of the program and offers a more typical experience of the Mac environment, for example, Skype now the program shows all within a single window for ease of use, and integrated with the agenda for Mac, allowing users to call, send SMS and chat with your contacts are online or offline.
The new version of Skype for Mac also offers the option to group video calls with more than two people at once, if they have downloaded the latest beta version of Skype for Mac and Skype forWindows 5.0.
It also includes the following features:
- -> New control bar called: Hang or silent settings using the new toolbar that is located on the top of any web page, document or picture you have open.
-> Search content in the chat that allows you to easily search for past conversations.
-> Offline instant messaging to send and receive instant messages even if the recipient is offline.
-> Customizing contacts through user profiles.
-> Automatic recovery if the call is dropped due to problems with Internet.
-> Contact control panel that lets you see who is online and view the contact groups.
The beta version of Skype is available for download from the website of its developer.
