When it comes to synchronizing files, always tend to think in what software to use to achieve
this goal and the truth is that we have tried and many alternatives, a few days ago was the chance to FreeFileSync, which is certainly an excellent choice, however, recently I wrote Oscar, a colleague, user and Computer Blog reader, talking about SyncToy.
SyncToy is a free program created by the folks at Microsoft, which by the way, I commented on the development of my thesis (which I submitted in July this year, as an option to be entrusted with our act of file synchronization. This is useful when using more than one computer a day, and we have our files on the parts we need.
Its user interface is quite simple to use, as you know, timing is basically to have the same files in two places or in different locations, then you have to do is choose the pair of you to synchronize folders, which it says "Folder Pair". You choose the folder A and folder B, so they are always synchronized.
This software is compatible with Windows 7 , Vista, XP, etc. and works on both local (to your hard drive) and remotely (with the perfect local area network to synchronize files with shared folders). SyncToy becomes a good and interesting alternative.
