Pidgin is a multi-protocol instant messaging. The software allows you to connect simultaneously to multiple networks (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Zephyr ,...) making it possible to communicate with colleagues and friends that use different software message.
